Ingredients:
1 ripe medium Hass avocado
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1/2 cup fresh or canned crushed pineapple
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes, soaked in water for 10 minutes to soften
1 small ripe mango, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup frozen banana slices
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup coconut water
1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
1 teaspoon maca root powder
1 scoop vegan protein powder (optional)
1/2 teaspoon Himalayan salt
1 tablespoon hemp seeds
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon lime juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 heaped tablespoon pitaya powder
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients except the pitaya powder to a high-speed blender and puree until smooth.
2. Stir in the pitaya powder just before serving.
Note: You may need more or less liquid depending on your desired consistency. If you prefer a thicker shake, use less coconut water.
