Steps

1
Done

For the Chickpea Burger Patties:

2
Done

In a food processor, combine chickpeas, rolled oats, chopped cilantro, chopped red onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until the mixture comes together, but some texture remains.

3
Done

Shape the mixture into burger patties. If the mixture is too sticky, you can add a bit more oats.

4
Done

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add a bit of oil, and cook the chickpea patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they have a golden brown crust.

5
Done

For Mint Chutney:

6
Done

In a blender or food processor, combine fresh mint leaves, fresh cilantro leaves, chopped red onion, garlic, green chili, lemon juice, salt, and water. Blend until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. Adjust salt and chili as per your preference.

7
Done

For Assembly:

8
Done

Toast the burger buns until they are lightly browned.

9
Done

Spread a generous amount of mint chutney on the bottom bun.

10
