Ingredients:

For the marinade:

1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes, soaked in warm water for 10 minutes and drained
1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the ceviche:

1 large ripe avocado, cubed
1/2 cup frozen açaí berries, thawed
1/2 cup coconut water
1/2 cup diced mango (optional)
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper (optional)

Instructions:

1. Drain and rinse the soaked coconut flakes to remove excess liquid. Transfer them to a blender along with the remaining marinade ingredients (soaked onion, garlic, lime juice, cumin, salt, and pepper). Blend until smooth and creamy.

2. Add the prepared marinade to the bowl with the cubed avocado, acai berries, and coconut water. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.

3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

4. Serve immediately garnished with diced mango, red bell pepper, and additional cilantro if desired. Enjoy your delicious and nutritious Brazilian fusion drink!

Note: If you don’t have any fresh limes, you can use bottled lime juice instead. Just be careful not to add too much as it may overpower the other flavors.
