Directions
You can adjust the spice levels to your preference by adding more or less of the Middle Eastern spices. These date and walnut balls also make for a great homemade gift or snack on the go.

Place the pitted dates in a food processor and pulse until they form a sticky, paste-like consistency. |

Add the walnuts, ground cinnamon, ground cardamom, ground cloves, ground nutmeg, ground allspice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the food processor. |

Process the mixture until the ingredients are well combined and the mixture sticks together when pressed between your fingers. |

Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls. If desired, roll the balls in desiccated coconut or crushed pistachios for extra flavor and texture. |
