Steps
1
Done
|
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. |
2
Done
|
Start by making the pizza crust. Place the cauliflower rice in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 5 minutes. Allow it to cool slightly, then place it in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out any excess moisture. |
3
Done
|
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower rice, almond flour, flax eggs, salt, garlic powder, and dried oregano. Mix until it forms a dough-like consistency. |
4
Done
|
Place the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and use your hands to flatten and shape it into a round pizza crust, about 1/4 inch thick. |
5
Done
|
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until it's firm and slightly golden. |
6
Done
|
While the crust is baking, prepare the miso mushroom sauce. In a bowl, whisk together the white miso paste, tahini, rice vinegar, maple syrup, minced garlic, grated ginger, and water until smooth. Set aside. |
7
Done
|
In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the sliced mushrooms until they are tender and slightly browned, about 5-7 minutes. |
8
Done
|
Once the crust is done baking, remove it from the oven and spread the miso mushroom sauce evenly over the crust. |
9
Done
|
Top the sauce with the sautéed mushrooms, sliced green onions, nori flakes, and toasted sesame seeds. |
10
Done
|
Place the pizza back in the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the toppings are heated through. |
