Ingredients

For each latte:
2 teaspoons loose black tea or 1 tea bag
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 can full-fat coconut milk (about 13.5 oz), well shaken
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk (optional)
1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon ground star anise
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 pump espresso machine or strong brewed coffee
1/2 cup cold water
Ice cubes from 1 large or 2 small glasses of water
Coconut flakes for garnish (optional)
Whipped cream and extra cinnamon for serving (optional)

Ingredients:

For each latte:

* 2 teaspoons loose black tea or 1 tea bag
* 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
* 1 can full-fat coconut milk (about 13.5 oz), well shaken
* 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk (optional)
* 1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
* 1/4 teaspoon ground star anise
* 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
* 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
* 1 pump espresso machine or strong brewed coffee
* 1/2 cup cold water
* Ice cubes from 1 large or 2 small glasses of water
* Coconut flakes for garnish (optional)
* Whipped cream and extra cinnamon for serving (optional)

Instructions:

1. In a blender, combine the black tea, almond milk, coconut milk, and optional sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Add ice to a tall glass and set aside.
2. Place all the spices in a small bowl and mix together. Stir in the turmeric and 1 teaspoon of hot water to create a paste. Set aside.
3. Heat a small saucepan over medium heat and add the remaining 1/2 cup of water. Pour in the instant coffee and whisk until dissolved. Bring the mixture to a simmer and remove from heat.
4. Divide the tea mixture between two glasses filled with ice. Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the coffee-infused hot water evenly over the top.
5. Top each latte with a generous dollop of matcha foam and drizzle with the spice mixture. Garnish with additional cinnamon, if desired. Serve immediately.

Note: To make matcha foam, simply place 1 tablespoon of matcha powder in a microwave-safe mug along with 1/2 teaspoon of hot water. Mix until combined and allow to cool slightly before using.
