Optional toppings:
– 1 ripe banana, sliced on top
– 1 teaspoon hemp seeds
– 1 teaspoon chia seeds
– 1 scoop protein powder (vegan, pea-protein based)
– 1 tablespoon granola or gluten-free oats
– 1 tablespoon maple syrup, agave nectar, or raw honey
– Ice cubes (to your liking)
Instructions:
1. Place all the ingredients for the base into a high-speed blender and process until smooth and creamy. Add more liquid if necessary to achieve desired consistency.
2. Divide the base mixture between two large bowls or one tall glass.
3. Top each serving with the fruit mixture, nuts, and any optional toppings you prefer.
Note: For a thicker and creamier texture, use half coconut water and half plant-based milk such as almond milk. You can also add a handful of ice cubes while blending.
