Instructions:
1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the almond milk, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, and sea salt until well combined. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes.
2. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the honey, if using. Add the ground turmeric and nutmeg, and mix well. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
3. Pour the golden milk into a blender and add ice cubes. Blend until smooth and frothy. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add more ice.
4. Serve immediately garnished with a slice of fresh ginger and a sprinkle of ground turmeric. Enjoy!
Note: The longer you let the ingredients simmer, the stronger the flavor will be. Adjust the cooking time accordingly.
