Ingredients (for 4 servings):
– 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
– 1/2 cup chia seeds
– 1/4 cup maple syrup
– 1 medium ripe banana, mashed
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1 TBSP ground flaxseed (or use water instead)
– 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
– 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
– Pinch of cardamom powder
– 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
– 1 tablespoon shredded coconut (optional)
– 1 small apple, cored and sliced (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, mashed banana, vanilla extract, and ground flaxseed (or use water). Stir well until combined.
2. Add the spices and mix everything together. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight to allow the chia seeds to gel.
3. Before serving, gently stir in the optional shredded coconut and sliced apples. Serve cold as a dessert or snack. Enjoy your creamy and delicious Moroccan Spiced Chia Pudding!
Note: You can also top this pudding with fresh fruits like berries, kiwi, or pomegranate seeds for added sweetness and crunch.
